WELCOME TO NYUMUNC XV

Dear Delegates, Faculty Advisors, Volunteers, and Members of the Collegiate Model United Nations Community,

It is my distinct honor and privilege to welcome you all to the 15th annual New York University Model United Nations Conference, taking place from Thursday, April 4th to Sunday, April 7th, 2024.

This year is the second year post-pandemic that NYUMUNC has been in person, and since the pandemic we have learned so much as a conference. While last year had its trials and tribulations, we moved through the conference with grace, and I am proud to call it a success. This year, we hope to have an even smoother conference with more committee time, streamlined payment systems, and other fun things like merchandise.

In addition, I am proud to announce that not only will we be continuing the tradition of triple joint crisis committees, we will also be formally introducing General Assembly and Specialized committees to the conference. With a large diversity in topics and themes and an ever-growing NYU Model United Nations club, this conference is sure to be extremely engaging and exciting.

As a school whose Model UN program has moved upwards in both recognition and ranking, the NYUMUNC community is eager and excited to bring an amazing committee experience to you all this year. We cannot WAIT to see you all under the arch at NYUMUNC XV!
