Delegates,

We are pleased to officially extend an invitation to you to New York University’s Model United Nations Conference XI! Hosted from April 2nd to April 5th, 2020 at NYU’s famed Greenwich Village campus, NYUMUNC XI is sure to prove to be our most dynamic and exciting conference to date.  This year we are introducing new dynamic committees and hope to enhance the delegate experience by building on what has worked in the past to provide a stellar experience to every attendee.

Staying true to our roots of being a JCC-centric conference, we will be offering three different JCC universes with a total of nine unique committees. Delegates will have the opportunities to work with other committees on a scale not offered anywhere else on the collegiate circuit and engage in historical, contemporary and futuristic universes.  Every delegate falls into their niche, and we look forward to providing an astounding Model UN experience to all you.

After our continued success following the introduction of our general crisis committees two years ago, we are expanding that effort to include five committees, including an Ad-Hoc committee, this year. We hope that they will continue the tradition of thought-provoking and boisterous debate, but also tackle some pertinent issues facing the world today.

Our new and improved “Systems” platform for managing note-writing, crisis updates and inter-committee messaging survived its debut two years ago, and we look forward to bringing it to you this year as well. NYUMUNC is conscious of the large impact that it has on the environment, and Systems is just one of the ways that we are committed to being a green conference.

We look forward to seeing each and everyone one of you and the ideas you bring to debate this spring.

Best regards,

Shagun Varma
